Collection of Ground Rent
When ground rent is payable, TMS collects on behalf of the Landlord and ensures compliance with the appropriate Landlord and Tenant Legislation in time for each due date.
We provide competitive fees for the collection of Ground Rent for Freeholders on either an individual block basis or as part of a larger portfolio. We are able to assist with Ground Rent only collections, or to collect Ground Rent alongside our full management services.
If you are a Freeholder who has not collected Ground Rent for a number of years, we can help. We will work with you by serving the appropriate notices to collect your historic Ground Rent.
Did you know that you are required to serve Notice under Section 166 of the Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002 in order to collect your Ground Rent? TMS will assist in preparing and serving the appropriate Notices in accordance with the Act. Did you also know that a Lessee is not legally obliged to pay their Ground Rent until receipt of such a Notice?
We can ensure that your Notices are served in accordance with the legislation and your Ground Rent is recovered accordingly.
